Privacy Policy

Welcome to WeClustr. This website, Weclustr.com, is brought to you by WeClustr UK Ltd. We take the privacy of our website users very seriously. We ask that you read this Privacy Policy (‘the Policy’) carefully as it contains important information about how we will use your personal data.

For the purposes of the Data Protection Act 1998, WeClustr UK Ltd (‘we’ or ‘us’) is the ‘data controller’ (i.e. the company who is responsible for, and controls the processing of, your personal data).

Personal data we may collect about you

We will obtain personal data about you such as your name, address, phone number, email address, and PayPal-registered email address when you register for our service or book an event from our partners.

Additionally, we will obtain your personal data when you send us feedback, or contact us for any reason. We may also obtain sensitive personal data about you if you volunteer it during the completion of a form on the website. If you volunteer such information, you will be consenting to our processing it for the purpose of our providing the service.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies to distinguish you from other users of our website. By continuing to browse the site, you are agreeing to our use of cookies. A cookie is a small file of letters and numbers that we store on your browser or the hard drive of your computer if you agree. Cookies contain information that is transferred to your computer’s hard drive.

We only use cookies that are required for the operation of the e-commerce aspects of our website. They are:

woocommerce_cart_hash

woocommerce_items_in_cart

wp_woocommerce_session_

The first two cookies contain information about the shopping cart as a whole and helps WooCommerce (our e-commerce platform provider) know when the cart data changes. The third cookie (wp_woocommerce_session_) contains a unique code for each customer so that it knows where to find the cart data in the database for each customer. No personal information is stored within these cookies.

You can find more information via the link here: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-cookies/.

Payment Data

We do not store credit card details nor do we share financial details with any third parties. All payments made on the website will be processed by third party credit card processors, which encrypt all payment transactions.
