Friends, if you still think you have a strong personality,
or others say you have a strong personality,
then it’s likely your cultivation is not yet complete.
The true masters are all “split personalities.”
Note, we don’t mean “split” as in broken apart,
but “split” as in branching and expanding.
What you think of as your personality is actually your prison.
True cultivation is precisely about refining yourself
until you have no fixed personality at all.
The stronger your personality,
the greater the friction you will encounter in this three-dimensional world.
Every time you suffer, every time you experience inner conflict,
every time life feels blocked,
it is because your fixed sense of self—
your so-called personality—
is in conflict with the flow of the universe and the Tao in the present moment.
Because having a personality means you still have a “self.”
Remember this: as long as that “self” exists,
you are most likely reacting to lower-level patterns.
And most likely, you won’t be able to access
the true principles and underlying reality of how things work.
If you spend your whole life firmly identifying with this “self,”
never questioning it, never allowing it to be touched,
and structuring your entire life around it,
then you are finished.
Because this “self” can never lead you
into higher levels of consciousness.
It will keep you trapped in lower-level reactions and entanglements,
so you will never be free.
You will remain stuck in that cycle.
The direction we are ultimately heading toward is “no-self.”
“No-self” does not mean becoming an emotionless piece of wood.
It means no longer being attached
to any fixed definition of yourself.
At that point, your personality is no longer a rigid stone,
but becomes like water—fluid and ever-changing.
This is the true meaning of what we call “split personality.”
This state of no-self and fluid, higher-dimensional existence
can be called a “coherent personality.”
A true high-level player with such a coherent personality—
or a consciousness that is free—
must possess the following five core qualities.
Ordinary linear personalities live within linear time.
But a coherent personality lives in the present.
All creation happens only in the present moment.
So they do not judge or define themselves
based on past experiences.
Nor do they fixate on the future,
because they understand that
any plan based on the ego’s limited logic
restricts the infinite possibilities of life.
Once you preset an endpoint,
you block out all the more beautiful scenery along the way.
A coherent personality simply focuses on
whether the present energy is aligned,
whether the “frequency” is in harmony,
and never clings to how the path must unfold.
This allows their personality
to reset and reorganize at any time—
with no fixed identity.
Second, the guiding principle of a coherent personality
is only one thing: excitement.
This excitement is actually a signal from awareness—
a positioning signal.
Because your awareness is connected to the Tao.
So you simply act based on this signal.
There is no need for excessive calculation or planning.
All reasonable paths will naturally adjust themselves.
You see how counterintuitive this is?
We’ve always been taught to think carefully before acting.
But there is another part to that saying:
you may think again—but just enough.
In other words, don’t overthink.
If you cannot yet feel this, that’s okay.
Trust yourself—you will experience it one day.
Third, ordinary people act with the mindset:
“I gave something, so I must get something in return.”
If they don’t get the result they want,
they fall into anger and self-doubt.
But those with a coherent personality
have zero expectations of outcomes.
Because they deeply understand
that the ego’s cognition is narrow.
So they simply play their role fully in the present moment,
and entrust the rest to the universe.
This is enough.
In fact, Confucius said it long ago:
“Do your best, and leave the rest.”
This removes much inner struggle and conflict.
Fourth, the underlying code of a coherent personality is this:
the Tao never makes mistakes.
Trusting the Tao is always correct.
This is what Laozi meant in the Tao Te Ching
with the phrase “follow only the Tao.”
They believe everything that happens
is here to fulfill and complete us.
If you cannot hold this belief,
it is very difficult to walk the true path of awakening.
Remember:
when you define something positively,
you receive positive energy from it.
But when you define something as a disaster,
your energy is immediately drained by it.
Reflect on this—
this is why your energy is always depleted.
Fifth, people with a coherent personality
no longer try to forcefully control
or change their environment or others.
They can sensitively perceive
the signals given by their surroundings.
Yes—these signals are messages from the Tao.
The Tao is not obscure or cryptic.
It is constantly speaking to you,
sending you signals.
You simply fail to receive them.
Why?
Because you are operating from the mind—
a much lower frequency than the Tao.
How could you receive higher frequencies this way?
When you stop struggling in your mind
and activate your awareness,
your receiver turns on.
These signals become clear.
For example:
you open a book or see a video
and suddenly find the exact answer you need.
Or you meet someone
who unexpectedly solves a long-standing problem.
Or while hesitating over a decision,
you overhear a stranger’s sentence
or see a word on a billboard
that instantly resolves your confusion.
These are not coincidences.
They are signals from the universe.
You simply received them
through the awareness you already possess.
Some of you may remember—
this is similar to what we previously called “synchronicity”
There are no coincidences in this world.
What seems accidental
is actually interconnected necessity.
Everything resonates
within fields of energy.
The moment your intention arises,
the subtle “coincidences” around you
are already reflecting
the direction of things.
However, a reminder:
if something must be done,
do not blindly rely on signs—
but also do not ignore them.
If the signs are good,
you may proceed confidently,
but without arrogance or carelessness.
If the signs are unfavorable,
do not panic.
Simply avoid rushing,
manage risks carefully,
and proceed steadily.
If the situation allows choices,
and negative signs appear,
it is wiser to choose another path.
So, do you see?
Life is actually a grand dream of no-self—
a vast resonance of frequencies.
The end of cultivation
is not to become a cold, lifeless statue,
but to become ever-changing emptiness.
In every present moment,
you can embody the most fitting “personality”
for that situation.
Remember:
you are not playing yourself.
Ultimately, you merge with the Tao.
You are experiencing the Tao.
