Yoga for balancing energy (Chakras)

Find out more about the energy centres in your body with asana practice, guided meditation, & talk on Chakras whilst enjoying Vegan food.

The energy centres (or chakras) in ourselves can be optimised through focussed yoga and meditation techniques. Yoga & Chakra meditation consists of a set of relaxation techniques focused on bringing balance, relaxation and well-being to the chakras.

“Chakra” is an ancient Sanskrit word that means vortex or wheel that can be traced back to India. Chakras are the human body’s seven main energy centres with each one corresponding to individual glands that govern our specific body parts plus various areas of the psyche. They are located next to a hormonal gland along the human spinal column.

In this workshop, the teacher, Nikesh, will teach you how to identify and attempt to remove blockages of all 7 chakras and how to bring them in perfect harmony. You will learn more about yourself. You will feel more balanced and energised. You will understand where energy is at an imbalance.

There will be complimentary vegan food available supplied by a local Falafel bar, an opportunity to ask questions and to mingle with likeminded people.

This is for everyone, whether it’s your first step into this practice or you have prior experience. All we ask is that you come with an open mind.
